Jon Hines is a Cape Breton based blues artist, debut band record at number two on the Canadian top 50 Roots Music Reports, and remaining in the top 10 or 18 weeks and peaking at number 1 in Canada. Charting on the top 40 in UK IBBA. “Memphis Sun” is nominated for blues album of the year “Docs Blues Awards” and “Best Self Produced CD” from the Blues Foundation. A two time winner of the Maritime to Memphis Blues Challenge, two time ECMA nominated artist, winner of Music Nova Scotia Blues recording of the year. This trio brings swampy gritty guitar infused with haunting vocals, and powerful rhythm section.
